Our pizzas are handmade to order at WIP in Lichfield. Stone-baked, hand-tossed, and built from fresh ingredients. We keep the menu tight and the quality high, with a rotating selection of classic and specialty pizzas served Thursday through Saturday.
Every pizza is 16 inches and made to share. Pair one with something from the craft taps and you've got the perfect night sorted.
Good Eats Pizza
The classics exist for a reason. Our classic pizzas — think perfectly balanced Margherita, loaded Pepperoni, and a handful of other regulars — are the kind of pizzas you come back for. Simple ingredients done properly: a tomato base made from quality tomatoes, generous mozzarella, and toppings that actually taste of something.
The dough is hand-tossed fresh and given time to rest before it goes anywhere near the stone. That's where the difference is — a proper stone bake gives you a base that's crisp underneath and soft in the middle, not soggy, not cardboard. Just pizza the way it should be.
Speciality Pizzas
Beyond the classics, we rotate a small selection of specialty pizzas that change with the seasons and whatever ingredients are looking good. These are where things get a bit more interesting — bolder combinations, more adventurous toppings, and occasionally something you won't find anywhere else in Lichfield.
Ask at the bar when you arrive. Our staff will walk you through what's on that evening and help you pick. The specialty pizzas often sell out, so don't leave it too late in the night.

When is pizza available?
Pizza is served Thursday through Saturday. On Thursdays we run our £10 pizza deal, one of the best value meals in Lichfield. Wednesday is drinks only.
How big are the pizzas?
All our pizzas are 16 inches. Most people manage one between two alongside a few drinks, but they're genuinely great value and plenty of our regulars go solo. We can box up anything you can't finish.
Do you take bookings for pizza?
WIP is walk-in only, no table bookings. We'd recommend arriving a little earlier on Thursday evenings and weekends if you want to make sure you get a table.
Do you have vegetarian or vegan pizza options?
Yes, we always have vegetarian options available. Speak to our staff when you arrive and they'll let you know what's on that day.
What's the Thursday pizza deal?
Every Thursday we offer pizzas for £10. It runs while stocks last, so come early.
