Handmade stone-baked pizzas served Thursday through Saturday. Classic options alongside a rotating selection of speciality pizzas — all 16 inches, made to order from fresh ingredients.
Every Thursday, any pizza for £10 from 5pm. Walk in early — they go fast.
Opened 2019 A Bit About WIP
WIP stands for Work in Progress. We opened in 2019 in a converted games shop on Tamworth Street in Lichfield city centre, and kept the name because it suits us — we're always looking for new breweries, better beers, and small ways to make the evenings here worth coming back for.
The bar runs across two floors: aged wooden beams, old bus and cinema seats upstairs, an iron range fireplace downstairs, and a small enclosed terrace out the back. Eight craft keg taps and one or two cask ales sit behind the bar, pulling from some of the best independent breweries in the UK — including regulars like Vocation Brewery, DEYA Brewing Company, and Verdant Brewing Co.
We're walk-in only. No table bookings, no faff. Come in, find a seat, and let us sort the rest. You'll find us at 45 Tamworth Street, Lichfield, WS13 6JW — open Wednesday to Sunday.
